Thematic Axes

Artificial Intelligence for Geosciences

The aim of the ‘AI for Geosciences’ thematic axis, co-sponsored by EOST and ITES, is to offer opportunities for exchange and a series of actions on all the themes of digital AI:

1. Introduction to supervised and unsupervised AI approaches :

    (self-)supervised learning
    physics-informed learning
    generative AI

2. Intensive scientific computing.

3. Handling and representation of large volumes of data.

The thematic axis operates in the form of exchange times in various formats (IA_Club, 1/2 day training, hackhaton) open to all members of the EOST community, ITES and associated Interdisciplinary Thematic Institutes (GeoT, SWITCH).
