Postdoctoral research project: Polyphase and multi-stage rift evolution along the North Iberian margin (southern Bay of Biscay). Constraints imposed by rift inheritance on the compressional reactivation.
The aim of this project is to study the crustal structure of the segmented North Iberian margin resulting from distinctive rift events and a subsequent compressional reactivation. The main purposes are to study the spatial and temporal evolution of rifting processes and to what extent the inherited margin architecture conditioned the subsequent compressional reactivation.
