Petrophysical and mecanic analyses

The Rock Deformation Laboratory is located at the Strasbourg Institute of Earth and Environment (ITES) at the University of Strasbourg. Our laboratory, part of the Experimental Geophysics team, houses a variety of purpose-built equipment designed to investigate the deformation behaviour and fluid flow properties of the Earth's crust.

Experimental biogeochemistry laboratory

The experimental biogeochemistry laboratory sets up experiments to study transformation processes and mechanisms in the critical zone. These experiments are carried out from the microcosm to the mesocosm and then compared with observations made in the natural environment.
The laboratory is part of the French Experimental Geochemistry Network (RéGEF CNRS - INSU) and more specifically the BGE (BioGéochimie Expérimentale) sub-network.
